Pada Kamis, 21 Desember 2023, Lembaga Konservasi Pusat Penyelamatan Satwa (LK-PPS) Alobi Babel dan BKSDA Sumsel mendapati serahan satu individu satwa liar dilindungi yaitu Kukang endemik Bangka (Nycticebus bancanus) berjenis kelamin betina dari masyarakat Desa Kualo, Sungailiat yang didampingi tim dari Besahaja News ( BN Management ) yang langsung mengantarkannya ke PPS Alobi Babel Kampoeng Reklamasi Timah Air Jangkang untuk di lakukan Rehabilitasi sebelum dikembalikan kehabitatnya.
Kukang merupakan satwa liar dilindungi menurut UU Nomor 5 tahun 1990 dan terdaftar di Peraturan Menteri LHK No. 106 tahun 2018 serta dan tercatat di The International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) Red List pada Critically Endangered dan juga di tetapkan sebagai kukang Endemik Pulau Bangka sehingga keberadaan dan kelestarian Kukang Bangka harus menjadi prioritas utama karena apabila punah spesies kukang Bangka berarti punah di muka bumi!! Tidak ada lagi alasan kita untuk mengabaikan keberadaan satwa endemik Pulau Bangka ini dari perburuan, perdagangan dan kehilangan hutan sebagai habitat atau sumberkehidupan mereka!!
Tetap jaga kelestarian satwa liar Bangka khususnya dan Indonesia dari ancaman kepunahan dan tetap biarkan mereka hidup bebas di alam liar.

ALOBI Wildlife Rescue Center ,Conservation Institute and the South Sumatera BKSDA received the handover of one protected wild animal, the Bangka Endemic Slow Loris (Nycticebus bancanus) female, from the people of Kualo Village, Sungailiat who was accompanied by a team from Besahaja News (BN Management) who immediately took him to Alobi Wildlife Rescue Center for rehabilitation before being returned to his habitat.
Slow lorises are protected wild animals according to Law No. 5 of 1990 and are listed in Minister of Environment and Forestry Regulation No. 106 of 2018 and is listed on the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) Red List as Critically Endangered and is also designated as an endemic slow loris to Bangka Island so that the existence and preservation of the Bangka slow loris must be a top priority because if the Bangka slow loris species becomes extinct it means it will become extinct in the earth!! There is no longer any reason for us to ignore the existence of these endemic animals to Bangka Island from hunting, trade and loss of forests as their habitat or source of life!!
Continue to preserve the wildlife of Bangka in particular and Indonesia from the threat of extinction and continue to allow them to live freely in the wild.
